Guest guest
Dear Swami Yogeshananda ji When i met you in 1993 briefly at a retreat, you had not yet written the book " Six Lighted Windows " If you had i would have asked you how you managed to remember so much after so many years and weave it all together so wonderfully. The six monks that are the subject of your book have become a part of my life. i would be grateful if you could tell us more about how the book came to be. I noticed that it is self-published and i wonder why no publisher took it up? ...Did you maintain a journal for you to remember all the details? How long was the book in gestation? I hope you are in good health. with pranaams jairam
Guest guest
GIRISH PARIKH INTEERNATIONAL AUTHOR 1787-B WEST TOUHY AVE. CHICAGO, IL 60626-2468 Dear Jairam Seshadri: 11/5/04 Greetings. Please convey my pranam to Swami Yogeshanandaji. I was fortunate to hear his lectures when he was in the Chiago Veadnta Society during the time of Swami Bhashyananda. He is indeed an excellent speaker. He edited the book about the 50th anniversary of the Vivekananda Vedanta Society, Chicago, in 1980. He was kind to include some material written by me about the Vivekananda Monastery and Retreat in Ganges, Michigan. Please forward this mail to him. If he can send to me a complimentary review copy of his book, I would love to write a review-article about it in my WIDER HORIZONS Weekly columns. (I may send the reivew to THE VEDANTA KESARI also.) Yours in the Lord, Girish
