Guest guest
The calamities like Tsunmami, 9/11, terrorists, earthquaks may be newer to this generation. But the calamities are not new to the world. For the same question " Why did god create so much suffering? " In the Gospel of Ramakrishna it is as below: Mr.M While quoting order of Chengiz Khan to slaugter. His assistents accrodingly cut all imprisoned people to pieces. God saw the slaugher, didn't he exists or not. I don't derive any good from Him. Master: Is it possible to understand God's action and his motive? He creates, He preserves, and destroys. Can we ever understand why he destroys? I say to the device Mother: 'O mother, I do not need to understand. Please give me love for Thy Lotus Feet'. The aim of human life is to attain bhakti. As for other things, the Mother knows best. I have come to the garden to eat mangoes. What is the use of my claculating the numbe tof trees, brances and leave? I only eat the mangoes; I don't need to know the numbet of trees and leaves. " somasekhar Question from @ Vinay Sharma You have certainly read the remarks of Dr. Rowan Williams, the Archbishop of Canterbury, as head of the Church Of England, and representative of 70 million Anglicans around the World that the existence of God is under question following the Tsunami Disaster. ...........You and all learned custodians of our religion should express their views on the situation arising out of such drastic comments from a religious head of one of the largest religion. Is it time we debate on " DOES THE GOD EXISTS " ?
