HAVE WE FORGOTTEN THE SIGNIFICANCE OF

JANUARY 30?

I have E-mailed the letter included in this column to

100+ editors of the US newspapers including 10+

Indo-American publications.

 

As we know Gandhiji was devoted to Sri Ramakrishna. He

also acknowledged the inspiration of Swami Vivekananda

in his life.

 

It is (and will be) a dangerous, dangerous, dangerous

world until end of 2012. The signs at present are

ominous to say the least.

 

I think it was Swami Vivekananda who revealed that the

Satya Yuga (the Age of Truth) has started on the day

Sri Ramakrishna was born. Recently I had a little talk

about this with my wife Hasu. " For the true followers

of Sri Ramakrishna, the Satya Yuga has indeed started

with the advent of Sri Ramakrishna, " I said.

 

Should we not try to spread the word about Sri

Ramakrishna and the advent of Satya Yuga with Him? The

teachings of Sri Ramakrishna, when properly understood

and followed, can save the world.

Letter to the Editor:

JANUARY 30

 

As we know January 30 has been set to be the election

day in Iraq.

 

Indeed, January 30 is a significant date for humanity.

On that date in 1948, Gandhi, the apostle of peace and

non-violence was assassinated. Gandhi has been

compared to Jesus Christ by none other than Lord

Mountbatten, the last Viceroy of India.

 

Have we forgotten the the life and teachings of

Gandhi? I urge everyone to go back to the basics. Lord

Richard Attenborough's classic film GANDHI will be a

good start.
