Guest guest
Hi All, This avataric claim and related arguments have come for all spiritualists saints of this age. Some examples are Ramana Mahirishi,Aurobindo,Chandresekarendra Saraswathi,Shridi Sai baba,Sri Krishna Chaitanya Mahaprabhu,Sri Ramanujacharya,Bhaktha Meera(believed to be re-incarnation of Lalitha a secret Gopika associate of Krishna Avatar) etc. But we devotees can make an interesting note regarding this. These great people never blow the trumphet.Only at rare ecstatic cirumstances they reveal the secret behind them. They never claimed very openly that they are God. But when devotees get attracted to their Guru's grace and love, they glorify him in many ways. When their material burdens get reduced after they come to these people, they inturn thank them by so many glorifications. This is arising out of love and even the veda glorifies spiritual guru as " Gurur Brahma Gurur Vishnu: Gurur Devo Maheswarah: " . For a true spiritual aspirant Bhagavan himself descend as Guru and show the way to himself.Thats why tamil smartha brahmins regard Krishna as Avatar and Guru simultaneously(because He taugth Gita). We call him " Krishnam vande Jagad Gurum " .He is the Guru for whole Jagad(world). Hence let us all glorify our Gurus by whom the gateway to knowledge and bliss is opened. " Guru Maharaj Paadh Ki Jay Jay, Param Brahma Sad Guru Maharaj " Here Sad Guru differs from one to other. For example I have chosen Chaitanya Mahaprabhu as my Guru. Guest guest
Namaste, I used to believe this also, but I have since learned that we should not judge a realized being. They are not limited in any way and can do as they please. Love, Bob Rose But we devotees can make an interesting note regarding this. These great people never blow the trumphet.Only at rare ecstatic cirumstances they reveal the secret behind them. They never claimed very openly that they are God. Guest guest
Namaste, There were two other similes Thakur used: As per Gita 4:7 - 8, God incarnates when there is a need, and he sends His 'Generals' to marshall the forces of Dharma against Adharma, and to protect the devotees, just as a King sends his Generals to quell rebellions. The other simile was that Avatars are like huge ocean-liners which can ferry may passengers, unlike canoes and small boats!
