Hi,

Population growth in earth is not at all a matter for

there exists so many planets where living beings of

different levels

(yakshas,gandharvas,siddhas,rakshasas,devas) exist.

There are 14 levels of planetary systems and each

level contains innumerable planets of that type. This

is in our Sri mad Bhagavatam.

So simply a population growth or decrease in earth

cannot be an object of speculation regarding emergence

of souls.

For Advaitists, all mulitple phenomenon are due to Maya

and hence there is only one Soul called Brahman which

has multiplied itself into many in maya and remains

one in knowledge.

For dvaitists, all jivatmas and their number are

constant and each is atleast distinct in one character

from others. They all are eternal as their Master

Narayana is eternal. And there are innumerable

universes and countless Brahmas ruling them.So a

decrease in population in universe may get balanced in

some other.

For instance when Brahma comes to see Krishna in

Dwaraka,Krishna asks him " Which Brahma are you? " and

Brahma becomes humble that now only he knows there are

so many Brahmas.

The leela of God are inconceivable and beyond our

logic.Hence only He is God otherwise if we know all of

his plans and system He would become a material

subject.

This God showed to all in Vamana Avathara that he or

his pastimes cannot be measured.

Hari Bol!!!!!!!!
