Guest guest
Dear list, I am not a very learned person in this matters but let me offer a possible explanation for the question. Even though I read in books that I am God myself, the question remains whether you have realised God, Because those who know he is God will always be humble and see themselves everywhere and everything in themselves. It is in this sense that religion differs from science; in science I am an observer to the happening around me and a person doing the experiment and maybe at the receiving end of the experiment too,for ex. the atom bomb. On the other hand in religion, I am the person who is being changed. The more I learn to believe and love the more closer I come to God. One more possible explanation is following Swami Vivekananda's exposition that the world is a " naitik vyayamgaar " (I am not sure there can be a translation of the term to English), we learn the " niti " s and express the God himself within us. Becoming God himself, I cannot be egotistic any longer, although I will have a brilliance which may sometimes be mistaken as arrogance by people who do not understand. It is for this reason that people of God realisation have a very tough task compared to normal people. They not only remain in God consciousness but also set an example to the people aspiring to God consciousness. The perfected amongst them are hence called as Paramhansa, the hansa who can drink the milk from the mixture of water and milk in this mixture of the world, who stays on the surface of bhavsagar and knows what goes on everywhere without a visible effort. Although debating and argumenting is necessary for grasping the initial idea of God, beyond a point the only person walking on the path shown by my Guru will be me alone and none of the persons I was argumenting with. To conclude, a better question would be " where will I find a Guru suitable for me?
