Hinduism Today

This magazine does significant work in promoting comprehensive Hinduism

world-wide. The body Himalayan Academy that publishes this magazine was set

up by Satguru Subramuniyaswami a Shaivat devotee. His successor

Bodhinathswami has come to London with the chief editor of Hinduism Today.

These people helped us a great deal with graphics for our textbook 'Hinduism

for schools'. I met both these Swamis in London while they are doing visits

& talks at Shaivat temples in London. They are both very impressive ~ humble

and gentle. Tonight Bodhnathswami is giving a short talk at the Neasden

temple on relationship between Vaishnavism and Shaivism. We are hoping to

have a meeting tomorrow with the heads of both these movements to exchange

ideas on how to protect and promote Hinduism in the West.

 

Both these major sectarian bodies recognise the importance of our work and

have been very helpful in promoting our activities.
