You have a good point. I agree with you that we are nothing but "MahanAtmans" . My feelings lead me to believe that nobody should be calling themselves Mahatma, there is no need for it if we already know that all of us are immortal souls. Upadhi is something that is bestowed on somebody which is nothing but an honor, and a real mahatma will ignore such honor, this is again my view.

Thanks for your comments.Dear Pricess Ratna,We are all immortal souls, so we are nothing but"Mahan""Atmans". These are all explained as "Upadi". When weshift this "title" or "Upadi" we are the samebasically. I would be only deluded if a title like"princess" or"Mahatma" or any such "Upadhi" createconfusion or irritation in our"mukta-suddha-buddha-prasanta-atma."May God protect you princess Ratna. Dear Ratna:

The "title" of Mahatma was given to him. He is a swami from Argentina, among other things. I know him personally and sincerely Mahatma doesn't make him justice. He does extraordinary work in many fields and his message here is part of that.

Namaskar,

Mahadev

PS: My name was given to me by my guru. 8-P

With due respect to you as a person, I have two comments to make; hope you or anybody else would not take offense. First - what is the idea behind addressing the group as brothers and not brothers and sisters? Secondly, the email is signed Mahatma Krishananda Ji, how can a person call himself 'Mahatma', doesn't this go against our whole idea of getting rid of the 'ego'? Moreover, what qualities do make a person "Mahatma", or do we even care to know? I am just curious and confused, and I sincerely do not intend to cause any conflict but would

love to have some explanation from our learned group whom I admire much. Thanks.
