Sad News: Swami Ranganathanandji has passed away

Revered Swami Ranganathanandaji the President of Ramakrishna Order

has passed away.

 

Kolkata, April 25: President of Ramakrishna Math and Ramakrishna Mission

Swami Ranganathananda died at a city nursing home here today, math sources

said.

 

He was 97.

 

The Swami, who was ailing for some time, was recently admitted to the

nursing home. The end came at 3.51 p.m., the sources said.

 

He is known for his towering intellect, Ranganathananda's avant-garde

outlook, combined with deep spiritual moorings, made him a popular public

figure.
