Guest guest
Dear Friends, Sri Ramakrishna says, "Remain in the world after realising God". How do we interprete this statement? The devotees are often very much puzzled by this saying of Thakur. If we realise God then why do we need to be in this world? And is it not a very tall order to realise God? Not many can do that. Suppose we interprete this saying as, "Remain in this world after knowing that God alone is true and all else is false"? That is, cultivate knowledge and live dispassionately. If we can do that then life becomes that much easier to live. Love & Regards, Jagannath. !
Guest guest
Namaste Jagannath, Perhaps He meant realize God and then stay in the world and help others. It may be difficult but each of us will realize who we are. In the meantime we can always try to help others first
Guest guest
Dear Jagnathji In Thakurs message, it should be taken as a point of importance in life. that means, first utilize your all importance and energy to realise HIM(ultimate truth). later you can live in this world..same thing is also said in upanishat as "common peoples day is night for Gnani and Gnanis day is night for common people"it is crystal clear but how you perceive it that depends finally jai thakur narendra sastry Jagannath Chatterjee <jagchat01 wrote: Dear Friends, Sri Ramakrishna says, "Remain in the world after realising God". Close the mouth, Shut the doors [of cunning and desire], And to the end of life there will be peace without toil. Open the mouth, Meddle with affairs, And to the end of life there will be no salvation. " Taoism. Tao Te Ching 52 ==== Om Shanthi Om
