Guest guest Posted July 19, 2005 Report Share Posted July 19, 2005 ITV the main commercial channel in the UK interviewed me today for about 10minutes on the Hindu response to the London bombing. They said that the programme will be edited down to just 3 minutes and be broadcast with the main news on ITV (London) on Wednesday between 6 and 6.15pm They cannot guarantee that the programme will go out on Wednesday (as that can change depending on other breaking news). I have passed frank comments on the role of Hinduism to diffuse the serious issue of strife in the name of religion. I have also pointedly commented on the shortcomings of both Christianity and Islam in dealing with the issue.
