Guest guest
By Thakur's grace I have been invited to present a keynote address at the IEEE International Conference on Software Maintenance (ICSM) 2005 to be held in September in Budapest, Hungary: http://www.inf.u-szeged.hu/icsm2005/program.php In my address, among other topics, I want to explore the relationship of SSME (Software Support, Management, and Evolution) and religion; especially how Vedanta lived and taught by Swami Vivekananda can help spiritual evolution through the work of SSME. I intend to begin the above specific topic after mentioning the areas of science and religion, computer science and religion, and software engineering and religion. (The process is inspired from Arundhati nyaya! -- showing the star Arundhati by first pointing to the sky, then to the area containing the star, and finally the star.) I would deeply appreciate ideas, suggestions, info about resources, etc. from the esteemed members of the group. --Girish (of SRKP & WHSW) (SRKP is the acronym for Sri RamaKrishna Parivar. WHSW is the acronym for the WIDER HORIZONS Weekly.) girish116 P.S. Some discussions of the members on the above topics may be of interest to other readers. I would request the moderator to post such materials.
