Om Namah Sivaya

 

Sri Ramakrishna’s saying: “Para-vidya, i.e., higher

knowledge, is that by which we know God. All else,

scriptures, philosophy, logic, grammer etc. only

burden and puzzle the mind. The Granthas(book) are

sometimes Granthis (knots). They are GOOD ONLY when

they lead to the higher knowledge.”

 

 

Tirumantirum (verse 2330):

Master Tattva-Knowledge and Attain God-Knowledge

 

Only for them who master

The knowledge of Tattvas, (Tattva-Jnana)

Will the Higher Knowledge (God-Knowledge) be;

In that Higher Knowledge,

The Self with Siva one becomes;

Then has begun the Bliss of God-Knowledge.

 

 

Tirukural:

(360) Desire, delusion and indignation--annihilation

of these three terms is the termination of torment.
