In April I had written about the re-cast veda Audio CDs in MP3 form from "

You Family Friend " in New Delhi. They are gifting this set of 13 CDs for

any one who donates Rs. 1200, which is the cost per day for them to run the

Vedic school. These CDs are not for sale. They are requesting participation

from all to make their effort of popularizing Veda all over the world. { "

Similarly, the Arya Samaj, in Bangalore have launched a project " Mane

Manege Veda " , in which they intend dispensing the printed version of all

four Vedas in Kannada script, and well bound form to last for the

generation. This project envisages publishing the text and meaning in Bold

letters. Up-till now 10 volumes have been released. During the recent 10th

volume release ceremony, they requested the public to spread the news to all

who are interested. They are printing about 4000 copies. They have at

present about 2500 registered members. So every time they bring out a new

volume, abut 1500 copies spills over. Apart from money pile up, the storage

of these volumes is also a big problem.

 

Ever since I got the CDs from Delhi, I have been comparing the text and

recitation in installments. I can vouch that both are perfect in all

respect. The cost of these 20 volumes is Rest. 4500 only.

 

This great effort on the part of these non-profit organization need wide

support and encouragement from one and all.
