Om Namah Sivaya

Dear Paulo,

It is very likely they may have copied this from

Hindus.

I am a Saivite Hindu, devotee of Lord Siva. You can

see in almost all Saivite temples a deity called

Skanda holding a Divine Weapon—the Spear on His hand

and standing between His two Divine consorts.

Actually the Spear(Divine Weapon) represents Jnana

Sakti (the Power of Knowledge), the consorts

represents Iccha Sakti (the Power of Will) and and

Kriya Sakti (the Power of Action) respectively. He is

known as the second son of Lord Siva (the first son is

Lord Ganesha) but He is personification of the Supreme

Power of Lord Siva's Chaitanya (the Superme

Consciousness Mind or the Cosmic[infinite] Mind ).

Iccha, Kriya and Jnana Saktis are consituents of the

Power that are necessary to Create, Preserve and

Destroy the Phenomenal Universes.

Of the eighteen Puranas, the Skanda Purana explains

Lord Skanda was created from a ray born of the

Chaitanya of Lord Siva for the purpose of rescuing the

gods. This reveal us the greatest truth that

everything is the creation of the Mind of the

transcendental Supreme Being.I heard form a Hindu

saint that Skanda Purana, Siva Purana and Saiva Agamas

explain Iccha, Kriya and Jnana Saktis in great

details.

Since the core nature of Jivas(souls) is Siva, every

living being do have this triple power but very much

limited by veils such as ego, karma, etc.Lord Siva's

Three eyes also represents these triple powers (the

eye on His forehead represents Jnana Sakti).

In the Chhandogya Upanishad, a Divine Sage Sanatkumara

who is a direct disciple of Lord Siva explained the

Will Power exceptionally to Sage Narada, this can be
