Guest guest
Dear Jagganath: I'm afraid your "orthodox" Christian friends are not. . . orthodox! A central, driving tenet of Christianity is that Jesus Christ died on the cross for our sins so that if we choose to believe in Him we will receive salvation and go to Heaven upon our death. The concept of rebirth (unfortunately) is diametrically opposed to orthodox Christian belief. If rebirth were true, says the orthodox Christian, then Christ's mission and death and resurrection was for naught. It is interesting/ironic, however, that Jesus Himself made several comments that can be interpreted as implying reincarnation. God Bless, Brad PS - Re: your comment on science - I believe that 'materialistic' science will, eventually, reach the same End as spiritual science -- as God is a Scientist. But, only if mankind can survive the intervening stages! Please visit: www.healthsystemredesign.blogspot.com
