Guest guest
Om Namah Sivaya Sri Ramakrishna’s saying: “When the ego is effected, the Jiva dies and there follows the realisation of Brahman in Samadhi. Then it is Brahman, not the Jiva, that realises Brahman.” Tirumantiram (verse 1555): Lord is Within You The Only Being, the Eternal Being Within you He dwells; When you say so, These ignorant men laugh low; Poor forks! If they but seek Him in prayer within Then shall they meet Him – the Peerless One. Auvaiyar-Jnana Kural ( 11.4. ) " If the mind becomes spotless and pure, you can realise the Lord within the body. Guest guest
Dear Selvaratnam, Thank you for the regular quotes. Only today I was reading the episode about Latu Maharaj. He had gone to a Siva Temple within the Dakshineswar Complex. Sri Ramakrishna who had gone to seek him worried by his late return found him absorbed in deep meditation and sweating profusely. Thakur immediately asked Ramlal to fetch a glass of water and himself sat down beside Latu Maharaj and began fanning him. When Latu Maharaj came out of his meditative trance he was shocked to see Thakur serving him and protested. Thakur said, " I was not fanning you but Lord Siva within you. " Latu Maharaj confessed that sometime into his meditation he had seen a light emerge from the Sivalingam and engulf the temple. Siva realising Siva, indeed!!! Regards, Jagannath. Ps: As the quote of Thakur is from memory, I may not have quoted him exactly. But that was the purport of what he said.
