Guest guest
Does the belief in many Gods in Hinduism lead to the belief in one supreme God in Hinduism. Are the many Gods and Goddesses diverse images of the One supreme God. Is it because the supreme Lord has different identities which we see as the many faces of Gods and Goddesses. Please discuss. from Neil Mukherjee.

Guest guest
Namaste, The source of this quotation is difficult to locate! I probably occurs in one of the Puranas (?Vishnu). The idea is spread in different words in many scriptures, but it does form a part of the hymns chanted in daily worship.
