Guest guest
Here is a link to more details on a book written by a Russian traveller to India on the hints he found about the stay of Jesus in India. Plase visit: http://www.atmajyoti.org/sw_unknown_life.asp If I am not wrong, mention about this book is also made by our Dear Kali Tapasyi Maharaj(Swami Abhedanandaji) in his book on his journey to Kashmir. And yes,my dear Muslim and Christian brothers, I do(and I think most of the Hindus)accept that it was indeed a blessing to India to have Jesus touched this great nation. Jesus is highly revered by many many Hindus here just like they respect other great Rishis and Munis and he beyond doubt was one the greatest Yogis ever born and probably even was an Avatar as per the Hindu definition of the word. Guest guest
Dear All, Swami Vivekananda did not apparently think much of either Notovich's book or of Jesus visiting India. Please refer to epistle 94 of Vol 6 written to Trugunatitananda of the Complete Works available at www.ramakrishnavivekananda.info The letter as it appears in the CW is an English translation from the original Bengali, which is linked from the English translation. Those that are familiar with the Bengali language will see that the original Bengali is perhaps in a stronger language than the English translation suggests. Sincerely, Partha Ramakrishna , Biswatosh <biswatosh2001> wrote: > > Here is a link to more details on a book written by a > Russian traveller to India on the hints he found about > the stay of Jesus in India. > Plase visit: > > http://www.atmajyoti.org/sw_unknown_life.asp > > If I am not wrong, mention about this book is also made > by our Dear Kali > Tapasyi Maharaj(Swami Abhedanandaji) in his book on > his journey to Kashmir. > >
Guest guest
I think your way of putting it is highly constructive. It helps to point out that something traditionally not believed in, if true, is a blessing, rather than something that means that all tradition goes out the window. I will remember this way of putting it-- India was blessed to have Jesus visit it-- next time I am challenged by a fundamentalist.
