Is it so mysterious? Can you not put your mind back into those

ancestors in the Aryan Vedic Age, when there were no matches and fire

was obtained by rubbing two sticks together? Fire came out of the

wood -- that's what they saw -- so fire was latent, hidden, in the

sticks of wood. Likewise, the passage says, this universe, which was

latent in Brahman as its power, has in the same way come out of it.

These truths are to be understood by the intuitive, meditative mind,

not the mind of modern physics and chemistry.
