Guest guest
Namaste, You are worried that even in liberation you may find no real lasting peace and will suffer like the past. You don’t know how it all happened and it is very troubling that it may happen again. This is not so. Once you know the truth it is never really forgotten and grace follows your every moment, you may never again become lost in ignorance and eventually you will be eternally free, it is only a matter of time and attachment. If you do return to this place then it is by choice, the choice to serve and help others awaken and not just to fulfill the desires of the body and you will never be trapped again. Why would someone eat dirt after trying chocolate? If one is attracted to the path, as you are, then grace is already theirs and liberation is inevitable, we just help it along by our yearning and spiritual practice. Guest guest
Hi Madhukar, I am certainly in Bhakti Marg, but sometimes I often encounter questions as such. Again, I feel a little Gyan also is needed to clear all your doubts irrespective you are in Bhakti or Gyan. But my marg is Bhakti that is for sure. Guest guest
Namaste Mr. Bob Rose, Thanks a lot for your kind answers that certainly has helped me to resolve a part of my doubt. True, there is no meaning if we have to come back again in the cycle of birth and death even after the complete realization. We must feel eternal bliss after truth of the life has been achieved. However, this arises another doubt that if Souls keep on going towards realization and never come back again in this life, then one day there will be scarcity of souls to take human or other forms of life, meaning God's creation will come at end ( because as we know Souls are never born nor die, nor there are new souls get craeted by God nor they are destroyed leading to the concept that number of Souls are constant). Can you please enlight me in this topic? Thanks, Satrajit Gupta
Guest guest
Respected Sir, This doesnt answer the question that if everyone is liberated in the end then there is no more rebirth and suffering and gods play comes to an end. Would that be the end result? Thanks and Regards, Kalyan --- Bob Rose <bobrose108 wrote: > Namaste,
Guest guest
Dear Friends , Please tell me how we can remain silently involved in bhakti without attaching the outerworld. Guest guest
Dear Satrajit, This " fear " of rebirth is gain stemmed from ignorance (our present view)- because we are failing to " see " the Divine now. Once you experience the Truth, this question of " I am being reborn " is meaningless, becasue what is that " I " then? This world has both misery and pleasure but one must not get caught in this opposites. If liberation is what one is striving for, then one has to be fearless and this includes rebirth also, because in the higher scheme of things, rebirth is like a change of garment as told by Sri Krishna. As you mentioned in your last mail of your temperament towards Bhakti marg, then having tremendous faith in your chosen ideal will remove all fear as you will be ok with wherever you are (taking everything as His/Her Will). So rebirth will instill no fear. In fact some bhaktas actually do not want mukti as they experience more bliss in praising the glories of their ideal than " their ego-dissolution itself " . It is like one having more " pleasure " in anticipation of a cake rather than having after eaten it (if I am right in saying so). Also, the number concept about souls that you brought about, does not hold in my view as there is no such law that the " count " has to be constant. For example, take a glass of water. How many ice cubes can you make of it? Indefinite number, as you can vary the sizes and shapes accordingly (again I presume this is my naive way of thinking). Guest guest
Namaste Srikanth and others, My heartiest thanks to you for your kind efforts to eliminate my doubts. The last view of yours has somewhat brought some relief to me as I feel you tried to make me understand that soul is something made out of infinity so, it is by nature and number infinite. In such a case, I am glad to notice the problem of 'Exhaustion of the existing number of souls' is completely solved as there is no end to infinity so, souls will keep on getting liberated or bound as per the Karma and Samskar etc. and this creation of God will never come at an end. But I will be grateful to all of you, if you could give some more detail regarding this theory from the existing scriptures of Hinduism or at least can refer any book/link so that I can take them up to see. Also, I am delighted to see that there is the great hope for us, that if someone realizes the absolute truth, for him or her individuality ceases to bring forth Universality and the realized soul never comes under the chains of brith and death (except those who wish to feel the bliss of God coming here again and again or who out of great sympathy for the world appears time after time). Thanking you again, Satrajit Gupta/
