Guest guest
Hinduism Award ceremony at Brent Town Hall in London The Vivekananda Centre trained about 250 candidates last year to sit for various examinations in Hinduism set by the Edexcel Board. The successful candidates received their certificates from the chief advisor on religious education to the Department of Education and Skills, John Keast as well as the chief officer in charge of Religious studies at Edexcel, Ian Rowberry. The event took place at Brent Town Hall London on Wednesday 29th March. Six of our candidates obtained 100 percent marks in Hinduism modules at Advanced level. This is an unusual achievement as gaining 100 percent marks at Advanced level is an exceptional achievement.
