When there is no mind, soul reveals itself

Someone queried on the satement

"When there is no mind, soul reveals itself."

I was thinking about it and came up with some thougths. Thought i will share these views on mind, brain and soul.

Mind carries/ stores the thougths, images, sounds gathered from the world. Mind is something which interacts with memory in our brain. It's mind inherent nature to interact with memory. As soon as you think your mind gets in touch with memory and accesses the memory which is related to your query, i.e., thought.

Its like thougths, sounds and images are stored in the memory (brain). There is something very sepcial about our brain. It stores the information in such a manner that it can simulate the scenes which we see and hear. More n more we interact with this world, more n more this world gets simulated inside us. With time these thoughts become so strong that they sart defining your actions, behaviour and gives you an identity "Sanjay, Anurag ...". In a sense this simulated world starts controlling you. Memory, images, thougths, sounds and ability to simulate these thougths collectively can be termed as mind. Memory is a part of mind because in order to gain simulation ability data needs to be stored in a special way. Ability to simulate is an inherent part of any living being.

Mind's ability lies in giving experiences. And when mind faces something as powerful as soul, it looses its egoistic and master atitude. Its kind of like experience of enlightement leaves an everlasting impression on the mind. Revelation of soul is the highest and most powerful thought. The presence of this thought later controls the entire thinking procedure.

In a sense presence of the experience of enlightment re-organises the thought structure. The associations and meaning attached to each event / data stored in the mind go through a transformation. When we are able control this simulation its then that the soul reveals itself.

I remember seeing a program on Discovery where doctors in west tried to see do we have an organ in brain which plays a vital role in experiencing experiences like enlightment. And they found if they excite specific region of neurons in a brain one visualises or experiences what is experienced by one in enlightement "silver cord" , "tunnel" etc.

Kundalini is awake all the time for the ones who have crossed a certain milestone on the path of enlightment and certainly for ones who have achieved enlightment. Kundalini being awake all the time keeps re-inforcing the enlightment experience.

People whose Kundalini is awake can get in to deepest state of meditatiion / bliss in seconds. Awakening kundalini is one aspect but controlling it is a step beyond. Complete kundalini awakening can lead one in to samadhi state and after that controlling it will make one to experience samadhi state again and again and will enable one to lead a life of a common man. And one with such a quality is a true Guru, like Shree Ramakrishna.
