Guest guest
Hello everyone, it is very disappointing to me that the Hindu community worldwide has allowed the facist groups advocating pure Aryan supremacy, dating back to Hitler's time to misuse and abuse the sacred Hindu symbol of the swastika, how can the Hindu voice be suppressed regarding this disgrace to the Hindu symbol. The swastika refers to the wheel of Vishnu's chariot, some Hindus believe it is an emblem of the Sun God. When can the Hindus confidently reclaim this symbol as the divine symbol of Hinduism, keeping its place next to the om symbol. Comments and views are welcome. This is an important issue to me as a Hindu, and I would welcome any positive constructive contributions to this topic. sincerley, and with prayers, Neil Mukherjee
Guest guest
Hello, Swastika and Om are used all the time in India. Especially during the time of festivals like deepavali (festival of lights) one can find shopkeepers decorating their shops with both these symbols. It is used even today in public and private here. If somebody misuses it or misunderstands it then it is his/her problem. regards, --Sunil
Guest guest
Namaste, I too have the same doubt. How did the Nazis adap Swastika as their symbol? I mean how did it migrate over there, and even if did how did they use our sacred symbol? Please clear my doubts. Regards, Vamsi Find out what India is talking about on Answers India.
