Hello Vamsi,

it is known that many German Scholars studied the Hindu scriptures,

indeed some were fascinated by the Indo-Aryan orgins of the religion.

There was much controversy over the true origns of the Aryans, Hitler

claimed that the Germans had the blood of the pure Aryans. I suspect

Hitler took the sign as an emblem of Aryan supremacy. I have also

heard that many of the divine Hindu scriptures are in Germany and

India has lost many of its sacred scriptures.

Hope this information helps,

Regards, Neil.

their symbol? I mean how did it migrate over there, and even if did

how did they use our sacred symbol? Please clear my doubts.

Thank you, Jay! ¨Hinduism for Schools¨ was very interesting for me although it is for children. If the children of each country were taught in this way the world would have probably been much more peaceful and happy place! Regards, Milena

Dear Milena,

I sent you two attachments about the origin and history of swastika outsourced from an article published in New York Times few days ago and wonder whether you have received these. The NYTimes news letter was deleted after I extracted the article for my own file in the Word which were forwarded to you separately as usually word files are heavy and difficult to send as attachments.

I will indeed appreciate if you would please let me know whether these eventually reached you.

With kind regards

Ashoke Kumar
