Hello everyone, To the brother who desired some books on Buddhism may I recommend a few: What the Buddha Taught by Walpola Rahula, is the best introduction in my library (having thousands of volumes collected through 30+ years in Buddhism, first in Zen on through Vajrayana and now as a priest of Jodo Shinshu) and I recommend it to all my students. The Central Philosophy of Buddhism by T.R.V. Murti. The Buddha´s Way by H. Saddhatissa. A History of Indian Buddhism by Hirakawa Akira. Old Path, White Clouds by Thich Nhat Hanh. Mahayana Buddhism by Paul Williams. Zen Mind, Beginner´s Mind by Shunryu Suzuki. A Survey of Buddhism by Sangharakshita. The Way of Siddhartha by David

and Indrani Kalupahana. An Introduction to Tibetan Buddhism by John Powers. A History of Zen Buddhism by Heinrich Dumoulin. River of Fire, River of Water by Taitetsu Unno. Cutting Through Spiritual Materialism by Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche. Naturalness by Kennryo Kanamatsu. These would present anyone with the full range of Buddhist ideas and teachings and should hopefully help. With palms pressed together, José (Kokai) We, who are but little flickers of light bookended by eternity have a choice: to burn with radiant depth, or to simply sparkle a bit and then dissolve back into those other depths from which we originated, and to which we must all return.
