Guest guest
Hello Trishna, Sometimes we get sleepy and heavy headed as we try to enter into meditative state. Its something like this we are trying to get into meditative state but we cannot hence we fell into sleepy mode. It may be that satsangs are taking you into meditative state but you are not able to enter into meditative state hence the result is you get sleepy. Reson could be that there are many thougths (worries) running in your mind and they hinder you in peacefully going into meditative state. Its like we will not be able to sleep if we have too much worries in our mind. Meditation is like conscious sleep :-). During sleep our body gets rest and gets revitalised. Meditation also revitalises our body and mind so if someone is doing meditation he/she will need less sleep. And there is nothing like meditating / chanting mantra with all love filled in your heart and with utmost devotion. During meditative state the only thought in your mind should be your devotion to mantra recitation / lord. In that half an hour world is not going to fall apart. If you are too much worried about world (and its good to be worried about it as you have certain duties to fulfill) then you can pray that may lord take care of your world for this half an hour and you peacefully renounce this world for that half an hour. For that half an hour forget about this world and with all love devote yourself to mantra recitation and lord. For that half an hour be calm, still, in love be with your soul and realise your trueself.
