Guest guest
Dear Colleagues Our work is gathering pace and I need greater assistance and participation from you. GCSE, A/S and A2 classes in Hinduism New Hinduism classes at Slough Temple From 7th October we will have classes every Saturday between 12 and 1pm at the Slough temple. We are told that there is a huge demand from the Hindu youth in that area so that may be a major class to handle. I will start off the classes but over the coming period I will need one of our other teachers to take on the task. The Leicester classes have restarted at the Geeta Bhavan Mandir They will be run by Beena Bhala who used to run them for us for many years in the past. These classes are held on Sunday afternoons. Birmingham classes these have been ably conducted by Hemaben for past many years and continue to produce excellent results. Rayners Lane Class & Willesden Green temple classes These normally start late in the year. Again I may need to involve some of the other teachers to help me run these. Kenton Rd Swaminarayan temple Vijaybhai has been running these classes for many years now. SKLPC class Pushpaben may need some help from Kantaben to run these classes. Milton Keynes / Wellingborough / Northampton We are hoping these classes will resume shortly too. We will leave it to Krishnabhai to follow them up. Ilford and Heston MadhooSoodanji has been handling these classes very well with some A/S candidates gaining 100pct marks last year. Brent Tamil Association Kamalbhai has been doing a good job on these classes held at Copland School. Hounslow class We are waiting for Harishbhai Deolia to tell us how we are progressing with his community group. Luton Classes We are waiting to see if the temple committee manages to get them going again. Sindhi Centre classes GCSE A/S and A2 classes will commence on 15th October Crawley class We have been approached by the Crawley Hindu Association to start classes there. We are progressing and waiting to see when these can be off the ground Wimbledon class The Joshi family is about to start classes in Wimbledon. Guest guest
Hi Jay, It fills my heart with great joy to see that so many activities are being performed under the great ideal of Hinduism. I feel there is the great need for the unity of Hindus who in turn would offer the world the light of knowledge and warmth of love and a justification for living as children of one God. Hinduism's rise ensures the death of fundamentalism and bigotry. I am very much proud to say that whenever I visit any Hindu temple, I never hear the priests and the assembled devotees saying "Glory to Hindus...". Instead they always say "Glory to the universe, Glory to the mankind...May good happen to all humanity and all living being and we would prosper together keeping faith on each other and everybody." This oneness I do find in Hinduism very alive and the very backbone of our spirituality is accepting and respecting other's beliefs. This I regard as the highest flight of spiritual freedom and it is our duty to appreciate such actions as Jay mentioned, not only that, but also to take active part in spreading this idea of universal brotherhood and love. My respects at the feet of Sri Ramakrishna, Satrajit Messenger with Voice. Make PC-to-Phone Calls to the US (and 30+ countries) for 2¢/min or less.
