Guest guest
Further to the question: >> Have any of ou come across this mantra that is to be used (ideally) >> in the morning? If so, I am looking for the actual sanskrit text and >> the references to the scripture that it has come from. Our resident Sanskrit scholar Dr Shastriji has responded: Namaste. This is the Mantra Arya Samaj and other people chant in the beginning of any Havan in order to purify the performers. This is from our Upanishads. Being basically a pirifying / sanctifying hymn, it makes sense to chant this first in the morning. You can find it in their manual of rituals with any priest does that. In the Mandirs priests would help in chanting it. If you need correction in the text you e mailed, pl give me some time - one or two days. Pl let me know if you need
