Brad,

I guess it's india's luck that god has never given up on incarnating.

Look out and you will find many instead of 1 but it's difficult to find a disciple as good as

Vivekananda. When they find someone like Vivekananda its then that a new chapter gets written.

Ramakrishna Paramhansa had many great disciples but it was Vivekananda who was

able to walk on the path. Seeds are sown but it may take many life cycles for another Vivekananda to be created.

Great ones incarnate for different reasons hence many may not come to limelight :-).

Spirituality doesn't get defined by " major events and trends of modern-day India " but by truth

and i guess the reason why spirituality has lived here is that people here have seeked " undefined " " unkown "

truth rather than following what has been said. Instead of blindly accepting what others have said they have gone out

experimented, validated and then have brought forward the new discoveries about it before the people. Truth never gets old,

it's always there and i guess that's why spirituality in India has never died because it has always tried to seek truth. All the

incarnations/ revelations together converge towards truth but still cannot fathom it.

Science has followed the same path thats why science has lived :-).

India's spirituality is fuelled more by what has not been discovered as compared to what has been said by earlier

incarnations.
