Guest guest
Today we celebrate Swami Vivekananda's birthday. He was born on 12th of January 1863 and passed away on 4th of July 1902. In a short life span of 39 years, he revived and refreshed the message of spirituality in a mould most suited to our times. Once, in a nostalgic mood he was heard to comment, "Only another Vivekananda can appreciate what this Vivekananda has achieved." Guest guest
Remebering Swamiji on his birthday, Once Swami Vivekananda was questioned by someone during his America visit 'Swamiji, why there is so much of sorrow in our lives?' He answered boldly,' First prove me, there is sorrow, then I will answer you'. He got the taste of real happiness. I joined this group yesterday and I enjoyed reading past postings.
