Guest guest
Dear Siddharth: Thanks for sharing. Even though I've never been (in this lifetime), nor shall ever be in India, I've long 'felt' and observed that process of cultural and spiritual contamination from afar. It's interesting how we Americans feel so proud of our destiny to spread civilization and progress, when in fact we're spreading pollution and greed, albeit, in some cases along with democracy and freedom. However, it's even more interesting to observe the spiritual seeds planted by an earlier India in the hearts and minds of some of us 'civilized' folk in America and other dominant societies. Which seed will prevail? As you imply, I believe we're in need of the next Incarnation. Jai Ramakrishna, Brad
Guest guest
India is now more obsessed in becoming a self-reliant military and economic superpower.Only once she has realized that and after the population of India realizes that money and materialism (which they are now seeking) is not the answer, they too will seek spirituality...
