Guest guest
Namaskhar Jai, Since JAY has done a lot of work in making westeners understand Hindu religion from a proper perspective, I wish to draw his attention regarding how Hindu deities are described wrongly by English Tour Guides. The following attachment would clearly illustrate this. Sir,is there something that can done to correct this? Thankyou KALYAN ============response============== Dear Kalyan We are aware of this issue of a tourist guide describing Kali in a deriding manner. There is even a Primary school book on Hinduism by an author called Sue Penny that says something like: The Hindus worship this blood-thirsty goddess (this is meant for 6 or 7 year old child). We are in the process of producing an article on Kali and distribute it widely in the academic circles in the West jay
