Faiths in Sussex Day at Worth Abbey

The undersigned was invited to offer a Hindu perspective on: Living my faith in a world community at Worth Abbey in Sussex. The session was good humoured and produced a very warm response. At the end of the presentation an Anglican lady stood up and declared, 'This was the best Christian sermon she has ever heard. The concept of the Holy Ghost became clear.' The breadth of vision enshrined in Hinduism invokes such reactions from people of other religions as well as people of no religion. One young man, thrilled by the concept of Spiritual humanism came to thank the speaker privately for giving such an unusual insight on religious enterprise. Hinduism holds the key of reviving and refreshing the message of spirituality that cuts across religious as well as non-religious boundaries.

Bravo, jay! (The 'fragrence' of Vedanta's intellectual description of life will attract spiritual seekers, while the 'pollen' of peace and joy through meditation will retain them.)

Jai Ramakrishna,

Brad
