Guest guest
Hello, As far as I know in all the Vedanta Centers and Ramakrishna Ashrams the following prayer is chanted before the meals: Brahmarpanam brahma havir brahmagnau brahmana hutam; Brahmaiva tena gantavyam brahmakarmasamadhina. MEANING: -------- 'The knower of Brahman sees the offering, the ghee, the sacrificial fire, the performer of sacrifice and the process of oblation as Brahman. To his vision, the fruit of action accruing to a person who sees Brahman in action is also Brahman.' This mantra is from the Gita (Karma Yoga). http://www.eng.vedanta.ru/library/prabuddha_bharata/Apr2005_vedanta_in_practice.\ php regards, --Sunil --- " w.russk " <w.russk wrote: > Hi Everybody, > > Please could anybody send me a link to the words of > the prayer said > before meals at the center in the UK?
