Guest guest Posted April 19, 2008 Report Share Posted April 19, 2008 Hi..This is very interesting topic..does religion help in making society orderly?.Or does it concern exclusively with spiritual progress of man and an orderly, fair ,just or an ethical society is the byproductIt appears to me that,an orderly society may not be objective of religion.When one looks at religion that way, one may be getting an incomplete idea of scope of religion.But after advancement of an individul in aquiring spiritual dimension,one gets back to society to put the wheel of dharma back on road(if necessary).which reults in an improved society.Because, an orderly society serves the purpose of providing platform to meet the meterial and spiritual aspirations of manDoes Hinduism as a religion deals with it directly..well i am not competant to comment on that.I would be thankful to read more on thisshashi BhushanI am another yourself Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Mobile.
