For Mike on the :Swami Bhashyananda, Late Head of Chicago' Vedanta Center, used to give the following as "The Ten Commandments of Hinduism"1. Honor life. Do not needlessly kill.2. Always speak the truth. (There may be very rare exceptions, as to save life.)3. Do not appropriate to yourself what is another's.4. Observe sexual purity.5. Be careful how much of the world's goods you acquire.6. Keep body and mind clean and healthy.7. Practice contentment.8. Practice some measure of austerity.9. Study: give discipline to the mind.10. Aspire to God-consciousness.These have obviously been framed on the Yoga Sutras.Swami Yogeshananda-- ------Swami YogeshanandaVedanta Center of Atlanta2331 Brockett RoadTucker, GA 30084 Ph: 770-938-6673yogeshananda
