Guest guest
Sri Anandamayi Ma was one of the greatest spiritual luminaries of the Twentieth Century. In Her name, a thriving school was begun in the year 2001 in the ancient pilgrimage site of Omkareshwar, Madhya Pradesh and currently caters for over 325 students and offers quality education up to 9th Standard. The children, both boys and girls, all come from the surrounding area from the poorest possible family and living conditions. They are classified as “Adiwasis” or aboriginal tribal families. The school receives no funding from the government and is supported and run entirely by donations. For further information, see www.SriAnandamayiMa.org, and www.schoolomkar.org A Musical Evening of Bhajans and Gurbani will be presented by the two Swamis from the ashram.
