Guest guest Posted July 29, 2009 Report Share Posted July 29, 2009 Om Namah Sivaya Vinay I have heard that we should not awake Mother Kundalini by force which can result is disastrous consequences, however if she is awakened by her wish then it is a blessing, just be a witness, nothing to worry about and you do not need a physical guru. In the year 2000, I was living in a university accommodation, one day I was reading one of Sri Ramakrishna’s sayings which states that we should apply self questioning technique for self- realisation and this will work for people who are maturated enough to attain Jnana , as a test I raised some questions to myself like who am I? Am I body, mind or something else ? Why do I need to depend on eating food? etc, etc. To my surprise I felt pain in my legs and felt like some electric current started to raise from my feet, I had no idea what it was as I had never heard about Mother Kundalini. I started to feel like my body was burning, I could not sleep properly and I had a dream about a huge serpent, I further read the Sayings of Sri Ramakrishna and came across the topic on sensations when Mother Kundalini awakens and I thought this new experience I had due to this. However, I was sceptical about it and thought I could be suffering from high fever, so I went to see a doctor, who said my body temperature was normal but she thought my skin was very hot , she suggested me to drink a lot of water. Therefore, I firmly concluded that Mother Kundalini had awakened in me. She travelled to the crown of my head within three days and I had many amazing experiences which I will not describe. I stayed in a state with partial body-consciousness for about a month and then I thought I wanted to have my body-consciousness back, so I went to a temple and prayed to Mother Durga and felt known at Her feet. She answered my prayer three days later, Mother Kundalini came down from the crown to the lowest chakra . These days she travels up and down at her will, one thing for sure she always keep for blissful inwardly. My humble advice is that if Mother Kundalini awakened by herself then surrender to her and watch, if possible keep yourself away from your family and friends and do not bother looking for a physical guru. You will have to go through painful experiences like sensation of you body burning, sleepless nights, but there will much bliss after that.
