Guest guest
Namaste, I have found many posts here on the kundalini. It is also in The Gospel of Ramakrishna and related to Bhakti, devotion. The kundalini's awakening varies with individual and can occurs like a train rushing in or in a more gentle way. I would appreciate discussing this subject more. It's place in Realisation, in sadhana, the sadhaka's reaction towards this etc.

It is only when this awakening takes place that religion becomes real. The individual experiences are very intimate and for that reason those who succeed do not normally like to discuss these experiences. Sri Ramakrishna has given great deal of information on how the Kunadalini power proceeds from the base of the spine to the top of the crown. It may be worthwhile to focus on his experiences because they are so comprehensive. regards jay
Guest guest
Namaste Jay, I am new to Sri Ramakrishna's teaching. The only book I presently have is " Selections from The Gospel " , and there is a limited amount of info on this. Is there another book where Sri Ramakrishna exposes further on the kundalini? I did find one called: " The Art of Sadhana: In the Stories of Sri Ramakrishna " - by M. Sivaramkrishna. Does it contain more info on this? I do have a basic knowledge on it and have read a few books on it. What did Sri Ramakrishna teach once it has risen, and is that teaching available? Is there a known reliable person in the Ramakrishna community that is competent in discussing this in private? Regards ---
