I asked the sansthan if we could set up a spiritual study centre where leaders from all faiths could come, conduct research, hold discussions and then come out with something that will really help mankind,†said Daryanani.“I don’t know how long it will take and how it will shape up eventually. Maybe it will be generations before we have something of interest, but it's worth trying. There will be no courses offered here.We want Religious Scholars from all around the world to come and work towards this concept.†He dismissed the monetary value of his gift saying, “After all, what’s wealth? Khali Haath Aaye Hain, Khali Haath Jayenge.â€In the past too the philanthropist has contributed generously towards the Gujarat Quake Relief Fund. The Land donated belongs to his family trust.Daryanani who is married to former RWITC stalwart Dadi Adenwalla’s daughter Ayesha was a passionate Race-goer, he set up a stud farm on the outskirts of Pune but the bulk of his money was made from his trading firm Indo-Saigon agency which traded extensively with Vietnamese companies. In the last two years however Daryanani dropped out from the racing circuit saying he found the world to be a “shamâ€. The 60-year-old who is a PhD in social science says he is at present doing research on the power of “Shoonyaâ€.For its part, the Shirdi Sansthan has agreed to offer its own contribution to the cause. “The land Daryanani has offered us is quite convenient, only about One and half km away from Shirdi. He has also agreed to pay Rs.2 Crore towards the construction of the proposed centre. We will spend a further Rs.5 Crore and will try to ensure the Centre is ready in the next couple of years,†said Jayant Sasane chairman of Sai Shirdi.Source - http://www.mumbaimirror.com/index.aspx?page=article & sectid=15 & contentid=2009082620090826033856234711acbd4frOm a grain of Rice to Acres of Land,aLways dOnate, and see hOw Life's mAgic Wand,wiLL chaNge yOur fAte."AbrAcAdAbrA - rOhit beHaL Love Cricket?
