Our beloved Bhagavan has permitted us, His students spread across the globe, to gather at His lotus feet on the forthcoming New Year day, Jan 1, 2010. Even though Swami has been granting us this opportunity to bask in His physical presence and love on the New Year Day for the last 6 years, 2010 is really special. It is a momentous occasion in the earthly sojourn of our beloved Swami, and we are the privileged ones blessed to unfurl the 85th Birthday celebrations of our Lord. Let us make it grand and glorious. How can we do it? Through many ways, of course, but the simplest and the first is just by being there, in the holy land of Puttaparthi, on this landmark occasion.. If there is any one way we can describe what Swami’s life has been for all these eight decades and more – it is Sacrifice, Selfless Love sacrificing itself to confer joy and solace, peace and protection to you, me and millions world over. And the least we can do on such a glorious occasion is to offer our sincere gratitude, and sit together at His lotus feet as One tight Sai brotherhood, so that the heart of our Mother Sai swells in pride and joy, and a beautiful smile blossoms on His lips!
