Through

Sathsang (holy company) you develop freedom from delusion, and then you

develop faith in truth and thus attain liberation itself. Just as the

tame elephants surround the wild tusker and rope him before taming him,

the spiritual minded will bring the doubter around. The company of the

good and the godly will slowly chasten and cleanse the persons prone to

straying away from the straight path towards self-realization.
