From Darkness to Light - Solar Village Trip to Kandervan (Thana Dist)

 

As a part of Sri Sathya Sai Village Integrated Program, the Zone 1 of Sri Sathya Sai Organisation. Mumbai, has adopted 3 villages in Safale, Thane Taluka.. These villages are Ranjanpada, Kandervan and Penand.

The above villages have a population of about 300 houses.

 

The incharges of Zone 1 who had conducted a survey as per Village Integrated Programme have drawn a short term & long term plan for the upliftment of the village as per the Guidelines provided by Bhagawan.

On 4th October, 2009. with Bhagawan's immense grace, about 90 Solar lights were distributed to all the houses without light connection in the three villages. This way Bhagawan's love has manifested in lighting all the houses of the villages. The lanterns were distributed by the Balvikas children of Zone 1. The seva covered included Nagarsankeertan, Narayan Seva, Mobile Medicare, Balvikas, Bhajans, Health & Hygiene awareness, and Lantern gifting. The sevadals cooked & had meals with villagers of all the three villages
