He is playing the role of Lord Shirdi Sai Baba in the Telugu movie “Guruvaram†produced and directed by music director Laxmi Vinayak. The story revolves around the life and miracles of Shirdi Sai Baba. Vinayak said that Thursday (Guruvaar) happens to be a very likeable day for Baba so that's why the title - " Guruvaram."The other star cast of the movie includes J V Ramana Murthy, Babu Mohan, A V S, Annpurna, Sri Laxmi and Sana.
