The windows, which we used to get for Rs.145 per sft. has gone up to Rs.250 per sft. The wages also have gone up for masons from Rs.120 to Rs.300 and helper from Rs.60 to Rs.150 per day. All have contributed to a very high cost of

constructions. In view of all these, we are forced and constrained to increase the rates of the units marginally as under:

Rs.5.75 Lakh for single B/R unit [550 sft.]

Rs.7.75 Lakh for double B/Rs unit [700 sft.]

Rs.11.50 Lakh three B/Rs unit [1100 sft.]

PENT HOUSES ON THE TOP FLOOR [terrace]:

Four Bedrooms: Rs.35.00 Lakh - 2500 sft.

Three Bedrooms: Rs.30.00 Lakh - 2000 sft.

Individual plots [30'x40' size] - Rs.1,25,000

Individual duplex house [1200 sft.] on plot of 30’x40’ plot – Rs.20,000,00

[Even after the increase in the rates, still the rates are about 30 to 35 percent less than the prevailing rate in Puttaparthy for a flat with the above specifications and amenities]
