CHAPTER 30 "Why

do I suffer", you often ask. You suffer only because you opt to suffer.

Suffering does not fall upon you, obstacles do not hinder you, it is

you that accepts defeat easily, it is you, that lacks courage to rise

above all favorable and unfavorable situations, and hence, your defeat

and acceptance to stray away from righteousness becomes suffering. One

instigates you, and your mind becomes imbalanced with anger. Then, tell

Me, who is the culprit of the misery here? Your own mind! One may hurt

you with wrong behavior, but you, too, instantly step your foot into

the same puddle of dirt, doing wrong in return. What happens when two

are equipped with swords? One will attempt to kill - the other will

kill! Is there a difference between both their motives? No! Both

approached each other to kill, it is only that one succeeded, and the

other was the victim. To Me, both are sinners, but yet the world

punishes only the one that survives. The lack of love, the motive

behind the diseased mind, the lack of fear of karma, non-recognition of

God, and the brutality behind the act, are all sins. Your

intent must always stay pure, even when one points the finger of blame

at you. If the intent is pure, all accusations will remain untrue, and

if the patience in you can cool the angry temperament of the mind,

time, eventually, will prove the falsehood of your blame. You must

avoid this fire, at all times, for diving into it will only burn you,

and attempting to extinguish it, will also char you to ashes. The fire

will burn itself away, one day; you must be the survivor at all times,

healing with compassion the wounds of the victims. You must become the

doctor that lives among the sick, that heals their pains, that always

has a remedy for all, yet will never be infected by the germs of this

disease. Know

that misery will attack you, only if you lay down the arms of defense.

The hero will save himself, only to save all that need him. The limits

to face dangers are boundless, and it is his certainty to succeed over

them that makes him the "hero" in other’s presence. You, too, must be

that hero that lives with the danger of maya, that fights the path of

karma, and wins, only to love others and save them - thus, saving you

own "self". There is no place for suffering where lies the eyes of

truth, the smile of courage, the heart of love, the mind of stone, the

tongue of patience and the soul that lives in this body knows Him to be

God.(Click below to read Chapters 1 - 29 : http://saimessages.blogspot.com/search/label/LIVING%20%28VOL%201%2FPT%201%29)- Divine Messages received and recorded by Mrs Seema M Dewan(Copyright reserved by the Author)
