Guest guest
CHAPTER 31 A devotee of Sai will know that his practice of religion is accepting the faiths of all, respecting all forms of God, welcoming any footprints that enter his life as God, and bowing with absolute humility before each religion, their practices and their chosen priorities. The love and teachings of Sai must not become the very source of argument; on the contrary, it must give you the love, humbleness, and patience to be able to listen and understand another's belief in God. This form of "Sai" may appeal to you, but it is the same divinity that has taken the forms of different Avatars, sages, rishis and learned spiritual leaders, all at the same time, in different places or even in different ages. So do not get attached to merely My form. My powers extend far beyond the limitations of this body. Participate in the merriment and joyous occasions in celebrating the birth of God in every religion, every culture and in each part of the world. Each religion may differ in their practices, in their form of God, in the books they read, but all of them have the same message, the same goal that God exists and lives amongst us, within us, that God is love, and loving all is being God like and that each one of you, will, one day, return to Him only.Do not be proud to be a part of your own religion only, for it defeats the purpose of being religious. Propagating only your own religion, being critical of others' practices and beliefs, closing the mind and heart to only one form of God, makes religion the study of God that is led by gangsters and terrorists that say religious is relying just on us. No! That is not the practice or teachings of any Avatar, saint or religious leader. It is only the power of your ego that has used religion to become your masks, to conceal your impure modes of life. The hunger for God must not stop in one community or culture. God must be found in all that you live with and in all that you live for. Do not control by being religious, but control yourselves to be religious. The effect of practicing a religion must direct you and not confuse or deviate you by being aggressive with knowledge that is yet not understood by you. Religion must be a path that must open all the doorways that lead to goodness, sweetness, simpleness, desirelessness and Godliness. Concentrate on your chosen path, but let not the path itself become God, the path must lead you to Me. You are all like a family, brothers and sisters, that grow up together, and then disperse in your own lives, to find your own forms of livelihood, yet support each other and encourage each other in your lives to reach the top. Similarly, all are brought up with the same concept of the existing God, yet each finds his own way to Him. So you, too, must encourage and support all your brothers and sisters in this world to continue their chosen paths and climb the ladder from being human to becoming divine.- Divine Messages received and recorded by Mrs Seema M Dewan(Copyright reserved by the Author) 'Sai Divine Inspirations' is now on Facebook!Facebook link : http://www.facebook.com/saidivineinspirationsBlog link : http://saidivineinspirations.blogspot.com/
