NO PRIVILEGE DARSHAN AT SHIRDI DURING YEAR END RUSH.Sunday 2009-12-20IndiaBy M Rama Rao, India Editor, Asian TribuneNew Delhi : There will be no ‘privilege’ darshan at Shirdi during the year end rush.This is a part of the effort to ensure hassle free darshan to the thousands of pilgrims who are expected to descend on the sleepy town during the Christmas holidays, year end and the New Year’, Kishore More, Chief Executive Officer of the Shri Saibaba Sansthan Trust, said

in a statement.‘The Darshan and Aarti Passes being issued by the Public Relation Office to the important and very important persons will be stopped from 24th December`2009 to 03rd January`2010, he added.More stated that No Recommendations will be accepted for Advanced booking of Accommodations. Based on past experience, the Shirdi Sansthan has decided to put up temporary Pandals to Accommodate the Devotees and to provide Food.Samadhi Temple will remain open throughout night of 31st Dec`2009 except from 12.22 am to 01.34 am on 1st Jan`2010 due to Lunar Eclipse.Special Pooja will be offered during the eclipse

period. There will be Holy Bath at 01.24 am.
