AUM SAI RAM

‘When I appear in a dream, it is to communicate something to the individual. It is not a mere dream as is generally known. Do not think that these incidents you experience in your dream are stretches of your imagination. I was giving answers thereby to all your doubts’. Sri Sathya Sai Baba (Sathyam Sivam Sundaram-p96- part IV)

Mid-December 2009, the world was getting ready to celebrate the birth of Baby Jesus, the Child of God. The forum was practically flooded with Holy messages about Baba and Lord Jesus Christ. I read all the messages avidly. I love Lord Jesus Christ. One message, though, left me in doubt. I retired to bed with this doubt in my mind. Soon, I was seeing Baba in my dream.

I saw myself in a picture gallery. My eyes swept briefly over the pictures hanging on the walls, when suddenly I caught the sight of a picture of Baba. I stopped in front of the picture. It was old, faded and stained with small grayish dots. The frame too bore marks of time. I looked at Baba. He was sitting in a white robe with His Hands joined in prayer.

I woke up and wondered about the dream for a long time. I have seen pictures of Lord Jesus Christ with His hands joined in prayer, I told myself, but never a picture of Bhagawan Baba with hands joined in prayer. Why is there no picture of Baba with His Hands joined in prayer? Does He not pray? Does God pray? - Surely, God prays for us…

This morning I opened my mail box and surprise! A picture of Baba was there with His Hands joined in prayer.  I was soothingly comforted with the divine inspiration that  the Father and the Son are ONE .Baba is God and He does pray for us.

It is indeed a privilege, and not an ordinary occurrence to dream of Bhagawan Baba. He lovingly answers all our doubts in the dream state, especially when we are physically far from Him.
